Mrs. Bardman has over 18 years of experience in the natural resources environmental consulting industry. She has taught college, high school and elementary school classes. Her specialities include wetland delineation, investigation, mitigation and monitoring; threatened and endangered species analysis; environmental impact statements; environmental assessments; and public education.

Any study of science includes the search for understanding the natural world and facts, principles, theories and laws that have been verified by the scientific community and are used to explain and predict natural phenomena and events.

Here at Swain we plan to investigate and explore many different areas of life, earth, environmental and physical science.

Teaching critical thinking in elementary science at Swain includes topics and problems that cut across the school curriculum and can enhance the integration of knowledge, provides real problems that can be studied or simulated, and provides topics and problems that can be adjusted to the developmental levels of students.
