The Physical Education Curriculum:

Provides opportunities for the development of locomotor skills, sport skills, coordination, fitness awareness, and game knowledge and understanding.

Stimulates a child's mental awareness and increases his/her love of learning.

Assists a child with the development of interpersonal skills, manners, kindness, courage and self-control..

 

Physical Education also provides health benefits by increasing each child's:

* cardiovascular fitness

*muscle strength

*flexibility

* good posture

*sport skill development

* bone strength

* awareness of active lifestyle habits
