Information Mr. Stanley Moyer, affiliated with the Allentown Band as a principal player and trumpet soloist from 1951-1986, was featured on numerous occasions at Allentown's West Park and Symphony Hall. His credits also include performances in a solo capacity at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware, Stamford, Connecticut, and Mt. Lebanon, PA. Mr. Moyer was also a bandsman and soloist with "The President's Own," United States Marine Corps Band in Washington, D.C. from 1957-1961. In 1963 he became director of Instrumental Music at The Swain School and is on the teaching staff of Dave Phillips in Allentown. "The Brass," under Mr. Moyer's direction, have been performing for weddings and festival church services throughout the Lehigh Valley for the past 25 years.
